Current Work Artifacts

This section holds the artifacts produced by the BFDev process.

Use artifacts/ for challenge, specification, story, release-plan, and decision sets tied to real work. Each work item or initiative gets its own slug folder so related material stays together.

Come here after reading the workflow docs when you need the live artifact set for a specific initiative or delivery slice.

Lifecycle Buckets

Bucket	Purpose
active/	Current initiatives, projects, and approved work in flight
backlog/	Domain-aligned artifact sets not yet assigned to an active delivery slice
archived/	Superseded or completed artifacts retained for reference

Structure Rules

• One folder per artifact slug
• Fixed filenames where relevant: challenge.md, spec.md, stories.md, decisions.md
• Per-scope release records live under release-plans/*.md inside the artifact slug folder
• Long-lived cross-project design belongs in system-design/, not here
• Process guidance belongs in process/, not here
